Nightmare Before Christmas

Burton introduces the now famous Jack and Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas. This movie was created by Tim Burton in 1993. This was one of Tim Burtons first romance cartoons. The main idea of this movie was to show how people or things that are often viewed as evil or bad do have a sense of goodness within them. He takes the ideas and symbolism of Christmas and Halloween to portray them as good vs. bad. What I enjoyed most about the plot was the idea of turning Halloween completely into Christmas failed. I liked how Tim Burton was able to show that being something you are not is not the answer to fit into society. Burton was able to turn the plot around have society welcome certain parts of the bad. The world can not always be of sunny days and sunflowers. Sometime we need the wicked weather and tornadoes to stir things up and keep them in balance.
